Payment Agreement: $600 due at time of in-person registration; $525 due monthly in 4 installment payments. Bring photo ID and come to San Joaquin Delta College - Workforce Training Institute between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Office-Locke 107 at 5151 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA Acceptable form of payment: Credit/debit cards and checks payable to San Joaquin Delta College. NO CASH.

Program Cancellation Policy:

Workforce Training Institute may cancel course at any time prior to the start date because of low enrollment based on the minimum required number of students, space availability, and budget. In the event of this occurring, a full refund will be issued.

Withdraw, Transfer, and Refund Policy:

Student must submit a typed statement in person or by mail to WTI for consideration to withdraw, transfer or refund. Approvals may only be made for unusual or mitigating circumstances. Examples of mitigating circumstances include but are not limited to: Death in the family, serious illness, or other reasons which are beyond the student's control. Failing to make academic progress in current course will not constitute eligibility to transfer to a new course or any type of refund.

NOTE: $300.00 IS NON-REFUNDABLE; funds are used to purchase course training supplies ordered before course start date and administration fees.

This program is design to train students to draw blood samples in a clinical laboratory or public health setting. Over the course of the program, students will gain exposure to on-the-job duties that include drawing blood samples from patients, producing quality laboratory results, gaining the trust and confidence of patients, and much more. The program includes 65 hours of classroom instruction and a 40-hour clinical phlebotomy externship. The program will prepare student to take the exam for Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and State license. Externships will be arranged by the Delta College Phlebotomy Program Coordinator. 100% Attendance is required.
